Can Anyone Identify This Cabinet Card For Me?

1 Attachment(s)
I know this cabinet card is of Hall of Famer Fred Clarke and his brother Joshua "Pepper" Clarke and is most likely from 1896-1898. Can anyone tell me anything else about it? How rare is it and what the value may be? what condition would this be considered?

Nice cabinet!
Any information, markings on the back of the card? Pic?

It's a blank back. The only markings on the back are from the original owner who was a relative of the Clarke brothers and wrote their names on the back. The name of the original owner is also written on the back of the card.

Well Pepper Clarke's only year with Louisville was 1898

Any idea of how rare or what the value on this card would be?

Value = ???

Very Nice

That is a very nice piece. As previously stated, it probably is a one of a kind item.

Could you provide the dimensions of the cabinet, and were there any other cabinets in this "find?"

It was on ebay for a while but it ended early.

I don't have the card in my possession but I believe it is around 5 x 7 in size when I saw it.

It was on Ebay for a very short time and advised the owner to pull the card so it could be properly described and sold.

Thanks to all that responded with information on the cabinet card. We are looking at possibly consigning it to Leon's next auction and having it on display at the National.

Thanks
Todd
