What is best to liven up old gloves?

Now that I have to sell 75 gloves individually, I thought I might as well clean them each up as I list them. What works best? I have used saddle soap, linseed oil and recently I saw that someone suggested vaseline. What is your opinion?

Weird as it sounds... Vaseline works magnificently for me. It really spruces up the leather and makes it soft, supple and more pliable. I was quite hesitant at first, but saw immediate results.

Works great on dry, dull leather. It even seems to clean it somehow, and is easy to apply as well. Some will suggest using saddle soap or even Murphy's Oil Soap (first) to clean the glove... then you can condition it.

Hope this helps!

Vaseline. Now if someone could just come up with a way to remove Magic Marker from leather...

I used it to bring my old high school glove back to life...got a couple of extra softball seasons out of it.

Without going back to those threads I have always used mink oil on my gloves but that is only for ones I am using. I presume it would help vintage gloves too but will leave that to glove experts.
