Posted By: <b>Scott Elkins</b><p>I paid within that amount last year for a five card uncut strip of W512-2 Little Wonder Bread cards with HOF'ers Sisler, Frisch and Baker on it in solid EX condition and no creasing, if that example helps any.

Posted By: <b>ted</b><p>Wow thanks for that bit of information, his reserve is 250......<br />just as a question of curiosity...what's to keep some get rich person from cutting this up and trying to get it graded..... couldn't they still get these cards graded if they were going to be hand cut anyway. I personally like the idea of keeping a strip together...but that's just me.<br /><br /><br />BlackSoxFan

Posted By: <b>Chris</b><p> Based on their age, it would be a huge mistake to cut them up. Grading companies can tell when this is done. I am also not sure but they may not grade strip cards because they are cut by hand. You would get an authentic maybe.

Almost every strip card you see that is 8 or higher is a recent chop job from a strip or sheet. I've never seen a vintage trim job with a high grade. <br /><br />Personally, I think that any strip card that has been recently trimmed should not be graded or least relagated to "authentic" status. It's really no different than trimming an ovesize t206 or other card.<br /><br />Jay<br><br>My place is full of valuable, worthless junk.

Posted By: <b>ted</b><p>I agree, a couple of years ago i purchased some SGC 80 W514's, i don't haave the scans handy or i'd post them, i really don't think they are a modern cut.... but besides those couple i have been very hesitant to purchase any strip cards that are too nice. I think they shouldn't grade modern cuts either.
