1989 Topps Miscut Sheet cards full sheet 11 HOFers

Some back story, in 1989 opening a Topps Vending case I came across a bunch of cards that had miscut backs. Fronts were fine but backs were all half their card half the card next to it on the sheet. So naturally being the pack rat that I am I stuck those cards in a box and never looked at them again. Which brings us to today, nearly 30 years later. Going through boxes from long ago I came across the cards. I immediately counted them, naturally. Sure enough, the magic number 132. So I found a photo of the uncut sheet online and laid out all the cards. Perfect match on the front with backs all half/half. This would probably be the best sheet from a collectors standpoint because it has 11 hall of famers Craig Biggio, Rickey Henderson, Tony LaRussa, Tom Glavine, Alan Trammell, Paul Molitor, Jack Morris, Ryne Sandberg, Mike Schmidt, Nolan Ryan, Greg Maddux + Clemens, Grace and McGwire.

My question to you guys, do you think this is as cool as I do? Any value to it or just another interesting novelty from the junk wax era? Thought individual collectors might want the unique cards of the player they collect.

I probably only saved it because I collect/collected Clemens and Schmidt.

Just curious

Neat.

I wouldn't think they'd have any more of a value.

Yeah pretty cool ! But if you only had one it wouldn’t be that cool. It’s cool because you have all laid out like that.

I also think it is very cool. You can sell the stars for a small premium but the commons are just a cool novelty.

I think it's cool and as other posters said it has most value laid out complete. Unless a player collector decides he has to have the Ryan or Schmidt etc and overpays. But I would try and sell all 132 together If it sold for $50 - $100 it would be a home run..

Agree, definitely cool, probably not that valuable.

I disagree totally:

While more difficult to sell (I don't think that is in dispute) because you need a more specialized collector for them. The cheapest any of these cards will ever sell for on EBay is $1 and there is a premium for better players.

I think if you start a lot like this at $395.99 in an EBay auction with the cool picture you might get some interesting offers because of the bulk. Individual player collectors would be very happy to add these to their collection. Here are EBay completed sales listings
