I am sure there is a wrinkle in which case if it's really minor maybe the upside is a 4.

There is a wrinkle across the face of the card, but I have seen cards like that get a 4. You would be rolling the dice, and it does seem that PSA is much more conservative on the high priced cards. I don't know if I would want to crack that out and take a chance they may decide to downgrade it even a half of a point.

Some things are better left alone. Since there is a wrinkle or crease, you could easily regrade at a 2.

Thanks, i guess i'll just leave it.
I look thru from the side, it doesn't look like it's a crease though.

I check from the side of the card all the gloss doesn't seem to be a crease though, maybe the crease is so light i guess
card looks better in person than in the scan though

I could definitely see this card with a purple sticke or a certified high end sticker.

My opinion

With a wrinkle on face of card I think a 3 is the best you can expect these days. Comparing it to past grades is irrelevant, they grade harder now than they used to grade. Is this right, not really, but it is reality at several of the grading companies. Still a nice looking Clemente rookie card.

Thanks, I just thought the card looks better than a 3. anyway no big deal, I rarely sell my card anyway.

It is hit or miss when it comes to grading, especially with PSA, imo.

This 3 looks way better than a 3, again, imo, as I have seen far worse looking 4's or 5's but with some slight spider wrinkles on the back, it could be why the TPG, that day, decided a 3 was plenty for this card?

Personally, I'd just be happy with the 3 and avoid some possible disappointment.
It's a great looking card and although I'd wonder myself, if it were mine, if it could get a bump, I am not so sure I'd be ready for the disappointment if it didn't?

It's a nice card, like what has already been mentioned, so just accept the fact that you own one while many don't. :)
