More fun when you have an extra 3 million to spend I'm guessing :)

1600? Galileo RC, Peter the Great RC, Pocahontas RC? I thought the earliest cards were from the 1800's.

Whoops! Would someone please prove cards from the 1600s exist to save me the embarassment :D:p:rolleyes:. It is a great reminder I am only human and I do make mistakes. I appreciate you pointing it out, thank you!

So, Evan, what's the story behind your avatar? Big Bo fan, or is that your first card or something?

chalupacollects 07-30-2018 02:58 PM

Well, actually playing cards (Poker rummy etc...)existed in the 1600's and I believe in the 1500's also..

Yes the 88 Bo in my avatar was my first card. I have since crossed it to a POP 1 PSA 1. I値l be displaying this holy grail at the National.
Bo was the first player I collected when I first got into the hobby as a kid.

Playing cards have been around for centuries. You're off the hook.

I guess now I need to crumple one up and send it in just to make it a pop 2 :)

Very, very cool. I love seeing athletes involved in the hobby, especially with the purest foundation - childhood collections.

Looking forward to stopping by at the National. While you're in Cleveland, can you stop by Berea and give the Browns some tips on who to put at Left Tackle? ;)

Bo was the man. Unfortunately, it seems like a lot of the younger people at my work have no idea who is - and I am only 32.

Those of a certain age will remember this, perhaps the greatest 30 second ad of all time.

Apparently Gretzky's "No" was spontaneous, he was supposed to say Bo knows hockey.

Thank you very much to the few members that stopped by for some collectible trading and buys. Please stop by booth 2221 the next few days to meet Evan and talk collectibles!
