Do you think it's worth reporting to ebay? I get so sick when I see all this crap all the time. It's overwhelming. I almost never report anything. But things like this that are so awful and blatant really P*** me off.

I just did too, maybe they won't ignore multiple reports.

I think I had a thread on that, called Babe on the Bay, and the item was pulled. I dont recall if it was the same signature, but thats a horrible Ruth, and a fake PSA letter.

Batter67up 10-19-2009 10:14 PM

Reported as well. I am really getting sick of these people posting bogus items!

Pup6913 10-20-2009 08:44 AM

Scott that is the same auto you mentioned in your thread. Now it has a COA. What a POS.

Cut, Copy, Paste + Cut, Copy, Paste + Cut, Copy, Paste= PSA COA

If you go to the Psa web page(or anywhere there is one) and pull one of these COA's up you can cut the photo and paste to a picture package. from there the mods are endless if you take your time and get everything just like the others. Since PSA does not use a special #ering for their COA's or maybe water marking, any of those scammers can build a fake COA. The cycle of A$$holes will never stop:mad:

It's very obvious that the scan of the Ruth auto used in the auction was cut+pasted onto the letter. Look at the shadow at the top of the cut signature - same shadow in the auction scan and same shadow in the autograph scan on the PSA LOA. Also, it is worth noting that the letter is dated 1999. If that PSA letter is really from 1999, wouldn't Spence have still been a signatory at the bottom of the letter?

Yet ebay is still allowing this OBVIOUS fake w a fake PSA COA. Simply incredible.

Plus, the cert number isnt in PSA/DNA's database. Come on now.

RichardSimon 10-20-2009 02:40 PM

the auction is cancelled and the seller is tossed off of ebay.

GrayGhost 10-20-2009 06:20 PM

Excellent news indeed.
