Wich set are you the more proud

With the thread about the completion of steven's cracker jack set i had an idea of a new thread.

Wich set do you have and you build by yourself are you the more proud ?
How long was the road to build this set ?
And post pic if you have of this set or your favorites cards in this set...

Thx

I'm still upgrading somewhat, but for the most part, it is finished. Would love to find a low grade Hoblitzell some time down the road.

I put together a T3 Turkey Red basic set five or six years ago. That was fun. Lots of classic images.

Without a doubt it would be my 1885 N167 Old Judge set. I can't imagine ever completing another set that would surpass this one.

That set is only 12 cards, how hard can it be? Ha, great set and I agree you may have a tough time beating it.

David - cant get that password to work...

Re: Which set are the more proud

I am most proud of my E95 Philadelphia Caramel Set. It's currently
ranked number seven on the PSA registry.

This set has much sentimental value to me. As I began this set in April
2008, I was simultaneously researching information about this former
confectioner, including who the company's owners were, their factory and
the premium gift cards they offered.

I finished the set in January 2009 and am continuing my research in
hopes of publishing a second book about the company sometime in the
future.

Jim B.:

Fantastic accomplishment!

Earlier this year, I broke up a complete set of sorts, my career contemporary collectibles set picturing every member of the Baseball Hall of Fame (300 members although a few of my items pictured multiple HOF'ers so there were only about 285 items all together).

I don't think you could top it Jim. I think it's the single most difficult set anyone has ever completed. And that's not to diminish what Jay has done with the N172 set, but he is still adding poses so it is not complete.... although close enough.
