anyone ever dealt with sportscardzz2?

Posted By: Todd (nolemmings)
Its frustrating that they almost never have scans available-- always the "image not available" on their auction helper. Awhile back, I left e-mail and voice mail messages for them, and got no response. You folks care to share any experiences with them? Todd

for example...this item would sure be nice to see, especially for the money they want. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1978119293

Posted By: runscott
I experimented with using my website hosting service to store my ebay images, and lucky me - the site was down the night of the auction! The nice thing about ebay picture hosting is that if ebay is up, so are the pictures.

Posted By: jay behrens
that's you should use the trick I use. I put a link to the scan in the description itself and also makeuse of the eBay hosting. That way, if my ISP goes down, there is still a pic. I prefer having my own pic becuase the picture is much larger.

Jay

Posted By: jeff s
I pay for webhosting for my personal website, and the hosting service has something like 99.9% uptime, and (I think) is much faster than many of the free options (angelfire/lycos, geocities, etc.). It's less than eight bucks a month and provides 250MB of storage.

Posted By: kyle lentine
Todd
They never have scans of their cards and have never answered any of my emails requesting a picture of a certain card. I called the guy once and he was nice, tried to describe the card, but never sent a scan or responded by email. I wasnt motivated enough to ask him why he never responds to emails
Posted By: runscott
Mine is about $59/year, which is cheap, and provides all the space I need, but their customer service is awful and they are down way too much. Thanks.
