Nice cards! That Philly show must be something special! I wish we had a show in LA like that.

I picked up 3 more Series 5 T210's out of the nice selection on eBay recently to move ever so closer to completion. This Blackstone being my favorite. I sold the first one I ever had to a collector in need of one and it took 5 years to have one come back to me. Glad to finally put this card in the set for good.

(Trying again)

Pretty rare that I have an addition worthy of posting on this thread, but Im very happy to have recently added this one from the recent T210 ebay listings (which I think mostly came from the recent Heritage lot auction). Im a Balenti collector and with this one, I think I can put my pursuits to rest.

Jason 09-26-2019 03:25 PM

Nice Balenti pickup! Does he appear in many more issues?

T210 Thoss upgrade

Picked up an upgrade of the Ade Thoss T210.

One of my favorite T210s!

Now I have several nice T210 catchers duplicates available to trade for other T210 catchers!

I was hoping you got that one Patrick. I recalled your search for a fitting one for you nice looking subset!

Thoss upgrade

Hi Jason,

Couldn't pass on a slightly better upgrade. I now have an Ade Thoss and a Clarence Munson available to trade for other catchers I don't have in my collection.

Two of the more attractive T210s with catchers in their full gear!

Patrick

I like the cool registration shift that gives it a ghost image-esque quality.

..R-314 Goudey 'Wide Pens' premiums ; this is from the 1937 Canadian sub-set of about a dozen or so Detroit Tigers added into the Toronto and Montreal team sets. "Type 5" if you follow the R314's...... the upgrade is the one without any pinholes......been waiting a while to find this one ; does not show up very often.

..

Congrats on the upgrade! Patience and persistence pays off!

I picked this up at an antique festival in Midland, Michigan for $12. It's an advertisement card for a store in Pontiac, Michigan. It measures 4.5" x 2.75". Any ideas how old this is? I'm thinking 1930's.
