WG5 Walter Johnson opinions

I just picked this card up at an antique store. I'm a little weary of the corners. It seems to have larger radii on the corners than other examples. Card stock looks good and so does the printing.

Looking for others opinions.

I believe that is a reprint.

Here's my real one:

I'm thinking I should have researched this one before I bought. They can't all be winners.

That's ok. Just put it on eBay explaining how you found it in you grandpa's attic and how you're not sure if it's real but it looks old. You might make way more than you paid for it.:D. I will add, I'm kidding. Please don't do this. You will be cutting into the sales of all the legit sellers with their T206 Wagners. I should also add, I'm sorry this happened to you, but we all make mistakes. I hope it wasn't an expensive one.

Lol. No I've been very lucky so I can't complain. I look at it as a learning experience of a set of cards I didn't know much about. Now I know a lot about them!

I'd highly recommended purchasing the Standard Catalog of Vintage Baseball Cards (Krauss Publishing) - available at Amazon. Although its print is all in black and white, most other answers are contained within.

Loosely speaking they should be tight

One thing to note about the National Game and Tom Barker cards is that the official reprints have a much more gradual corner radius versus the real cards, such as shown, that have a much tighter radius.
