1984 Nestle baseball uncut sheets

I picked up 7 uncut sheets of the 1984 Nestle baseball card set. 6 make the full set and there is one double. I read that dealers bought up the sheets and cut them up to make full sets. Is it best to have them cut to make a full set or keep the uncut set?

If I remember correctly, it was ONLY available in uncut form...Everything else comes down to personal preference though...Cut up and graded for the stars might be the best. Especially the Mattingly. It usually sells well in high grade(even though high grade should be expected).

If you're looking to keep it, why not just keep it in sheet form though...Framed and man-caved...

David my Man Cave is getting full. I might just roll them back up and put them in their box. Thanks D.

Based on what I see on eBay, even the high-grade examples are labeled hand cut by PSA.

I'd never cut of an uncut sheet and I don't understand why people do. You're better off framing it either for the man cave, living room or to sell.

The dealers who cut them up were

Gary Sawatski and Jim Justus (I may have spelled both of their names wrong)

They bought out the stock of the sheets and had them professionally cut.

They then used those sets/singles to trade for interesting odd-ball cards and traveled the country to do so. Both were good people and I think Gary has passed away. Liked them both, both were also helpful when I worked at Beckett later.

I loved those Nestle's cards ---

Just be sure not to do what I did - roll the thing improperly (I was 12, gimme a break) and crease an entire row or two of the cards on the sheet. Grrr.
