Can you help me ID this card of Clemente, it is 2" x 3". Thanks

placing your question in the appropriate section may help.

1972 Daily Juice I think.

Is there anything on the back of the card?

Thing is, according to the Standard Catalog, the 1972 Daily Juice Clemente is 2 1/2" x 3 3/4", and has information printed on the back. The OP states that this card is only 2" x 3". The cropping of the photo appears consistent with the real card, so I'm thinking this could be a knock-off of the real card, especially if it has a blank back.

It's either a daily juice or harmony dairy depending on the back- the daily juice is very common

Thanks for the help, sorry for not placing it in the right section, my bad.

Ribbens 06-21-2016 03:56 PM

I don't know yet, will find out.

looks like he got his answer fairly quickly though.

The night crew was asleep at the wheel or this would have been moved to the appropriate section. No harm no foul on innocent mistakes. Happy collecting and carry on....

yes he did, bob...not surprising. I know...im a fuddy dudd...a debbie downer. But what the hell is the point of having rules if they are not followed or enforced.

my main point is primarily that the guy only had 80 posts and while he did join up back in 2011, he obviously isn't a regular or can quote you the n54 handbook. rather, just a fellow collector looking for a quick answer.

with that being said, to instantly swoop in on him and post what you did w/o even so much as any help is more than discouraging. and this isn't the first time at all. personally, i feel you almost sit back and wait for someone to do it so you can issue the ticket and collect the fine.

im also saying that stuff like that, particularly the wording used, runs people off not encourages them to stay, contribute or get involved. something i would think most pre-war collectors are in need of as of late.

now i don't know him, but if he's a habitual offender then i offer my apology and rebuttal.

however if not, i can only imagine his or any other non regular/"newbies" initial feelings towards ever posting "again" to n54.

edit: and to answer your question: to help a fellow collector. plain and simple.

Kinda have to agree with Bob on this one. Pete seems like he is wound super tight these days. He seems to be pouncing on people first chance he gets. I liked the previous Pete who was a little...looser...

Sorry, but I tend to agree with Pete on this.....post-war topics tend to be creeping in more and more often these days....maybe I am wound a little tight as well...just my two cents worth.........Jerry

begsu1013 06-21-2016 08:34 PM

we all agree on the point, it was the wording.

habitual offender? then you guys proceed w/ your stoning.

Ribbens 06-21-2016 10:05 PM

I will be more careful in the future, thanks for the help with identifying the card for me. The N54 Forum is a valuable resource and I appreciate being able to find help collecting and meeting great knowledgable collectors.
