This photo was taken in March 1939 following the Leafs victory over the Red Wings in the semis. They lost to the Bruins four games to one in the Cup series. Let's get that Wild Card first and go from there.

Never heard of the guy but my pop culture references are antiquated. Players are Red Horner, Reg Hamilton and Bucko McDonald.

I see the resemblance. Despite his choirboy looks Horner was a tough customer back in the day.
