With 9 hours to go this ball is at $504.00 I contacted the seller saying it is not real and he said, "A lot of people have told me they probably are". I tried reporting him to ebay but so far no one has taken it down.

i doubt they will remove it , and i wouldnt turn it in because he says in the listing the big names are signed by the bat boy

Agree with KHW, shame on anyone who bids and doesn't read the description.

$1136.00 SOLD
I see where he said it was signed by the ball boy but I feel sorry for the buyer?

As hard as we try, we just cannot stop the idiots.

500-600 that is still a good ball , that thing is mint with alot of good signatures 1100? yikes then they will send to psa or jsa and get a letter with all the clubhouse and pay 200.00 for that

The sale has been cancelled by ebay.

I didn't look at the auction but from previous posts, the seller states the big names were clubhouse signed. Why would ebay remove it?

Was wondering the same.... Clubhouse signed (and properly disclosed) balls are sold all the time, both on ebay and via Auction Houses.

Was there something in the listing that was deceiving or untrue? Seems like if it was disclosed, the seller did his due diligence. I wish the listing was still "viewable", to see where the problem was.

It confused me too , I did get a chance to look at the entire ball when it was still active and most if not all of the signatures appeared to me to be clubhouse signatures not just the "big names" so maybe that was what the problem was. But even so it had been described in such a way as to leave the door wide open to those possibilities.

The surprising aspect to me was why the bidding was so active on it and how it ended up at the price it did even with the sellers disclosures

Perhaps it was because they weren't specific as to which signatures were clubhouse.
