Hello - does anyone on this board know anything about this authenticator? I have never heard of him and would appreciate any feedback. Thanks - Eric

Dave is a good guy. Very knowledgeable about jerseys and other game used items. Long track record. Approachable.

Dave's been one of the main game-used memorabilia collectors/dealers/specialists since the early 1980s at the latest. He used to do a column in Baseball Hobby News and/or Sports Collectors Digest back in the 1980s and 1990s.

He's still active over on the Game Used Universe forums, http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/. His handle is sox83cubs84.

Apropos his handle, I think he’s a Chicago specialist....but knowledgeable about other teams as well.

Well known and respected, and had done authentication for REA, Higgens & Scott, etc. Used to work for MEARS.
