1969 Topps Nolan Ryan future value ?

I bought a 69 PSA 6 several years ago and noticed an uptick every year since. Not his rookie but first full size card and it looks good. Think it has a future ?
Didn't buy it for value just like it.

I can see the 69 steadily going up in value, but I think a high grade 71 will out perform the 69.

The 1969 has a lot going for it. As the rookie rises out of the reach of the average collectors except as a beater the 2nd year is the best option. It is a very attractive image. Part of the Amazin’ Mets set too. At current prices I don’t see any downside to a nice 6 or 7.

I can see the high grade 71 doing well, but mainly because of the difficulty of finding a high grade example with those black borders. I still think the 69 is a better card though and will appreciate more at all levels while the 71 will increase only at high grades.
