c1890s Victorian Trade Card for the White Sewing Machine Co. I think this image may have been used by other businesses in the period as well. Some have advertising on the back, but mine is blank backed. First Trade Card pickup for me!

Did Anson not like to be photographed in his uniform? Great card either way.

oldjudge 09-07-2019 03:33 PM

Yum Yum, G&B and Four Base Hits all have cases of different names/images(so do Old Judges).

That Kalamazoo Wright is amazing!

Rhotchkiss 09-08-2019 06:42 PM

Ethan, Jeff, Scott - all three of you have had amazing pick ups. Congratulations.

Joe_G. 09-08-2019 07:03 PM

Amazing cards, that large GQ of Richardson is phenomenal, classic looking pose, love the GQs. The Yum Yum Anson is also special. Thank you for posting some great 19th century pick-ups.

Nice big borders on the Marquard, Leon. It sometimes takes me a few minutes to sort my pics and preview my post, so if someone just posted a T206 Wagner 2 minutes before me, my apologies for stepping on your post. ha-ha

Some fun cards from the T206 Greg Morris eBay auction. Steinfeldt was the Pete Best of the champion Cubs...

KCRfan1 09-09-2019 11:17 PM

Those are some nice pick ups RC!

The Anson, Wagner, and Wright are 3 of the most unique/greatest pickups I've seen in a monthly pickup thread.

Well done gentlemen!

Thanks o a fellow board member I have finally acquired a couple more T206s with the purple number back stamps that I collect. These never show up but I was able to pick up two recently. I'm very psyched to pick these two up. Thanks a lot David!

.

RCMcKenzie 09-10-2019 01:06 PM

Thanks, Lou. Nice going, Andy. Those are cool. Sweeney with triple digits.

Jobu 09-10-2019 01:29 PM

Finally!!! I have been waiting a long time to see you find more. Congrats.

What is the highest number on the back of one of these?

Thanks guys. I'm super excited to have them. 122 was the highest number I've ever seen on one of these, so now 142 on the Sweeney is the highest number. I couldn't be happier with a new acquisition. Fellow back stamp collector David Brooks is credited with the assist on these.

Andy

Super thrilled to have picked up two of the missing four cards for my set. It has been a long, long time since I've added one. None of mine are graded so PSA is going to get more of my coin.

Been a long three years without adding to the collection, big thanks to Jamie B & Michael Sarno for these two.

Also really appreciate those that stayed in touch and got me back into the hobby, I sure did miss it.
