1948 bowman

48' Bowman baseball set...

I know nothing about the Bowman cards. I personally could care less what else the seller does or does not sell. As a once in a while seller I could have anything listed from diamond blades for sawing concrete to baseball cards to the GI Joe figures I have listed now. So for me just because I am selling toys now does not mean the cards I list next month are not real. I know others see this different but I not everybody is a crook. It does seem that way sometimes though.

Lot looks fine to me; I wouldn't have had a problem bidding. Good luck.

That lot is 100% authentic but no secret as to how they will grade. The cards are mangled, gouged, attacked with a blunt instrument, scratched, stained, etc..... It is a good filler lot.

Peace, Mike

1948

Pioneer set for Bowman, but the B&Ws do not seem to have the draw of the Leaf colors. Only 48 cards but both high number and SP challenges. The Berra may be a bigger draw than the Musial. One question, was there any gum in those penny packs in 1948 ?

Thanks! That's a great article about the set. I started my collection because it's only 48 cards. My set is # 30 on PSA registry with 5 cards to go.
