If it helps, their Twitter says “experiencing technical difficulties and effected (sic) auctions will be extended”.

MikeKam 10-19-2019 07:47 AM

Yep, and it still looks to be down haha

Heritage

Went down around 9:30 pm (CDT) and is still down this morning. That was 30 minutes before the auction was to end.

Wouldn't you think they'd send an email to active bidders, notifying us of the outage and current status? And perhaps the backup plan? Every other Catalog Auction I can think of sends email notifications and updates when these outages occur. Really odd that there's zero communication. Maybe their email is down as well.

Joe Hunter 10-19-2019 01:29 PM

Yeah, I’ve been anticipating some type of communication, but nothing, so far. I would guess email is down, as well.

pawpawdiv9 10-19-2019 01:36 PM

but 30 min or so they tweetered a nice pinball machine. So i sent a response and this is what i just got:

We’re still working to resolve the problem, once we do the auction will resume and we’ll send out notices to all bidders. Very sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience

CobbSpikedMe 10-19-2019 01:50 PM

Maybe they are having a hard time deciding which lots are good deals still and they needed more time.;):D

Still down on Sunday.......

The Heritage site now states: "We have confirmed that we were a victim of a malware attack."

Rhotchkiss 10-20-2019 06:21 PM

Wow. First REA, then Heritage, and last night Goldin all have had last minute issues. If Heritage was purposeful, then maybe the others were as well. I bet either LOTG or ML is behind it ;)

Andy, I loved your post- very funny.

Thank goodness I have shifted my attention to BST.

Leon - please keep us safe.

Looks like HA is back up. I can't imagine what they had to deal with.
