Minnie, President Socarras and a promise
 

The slug tells the story of the Minne (or Orestes) photo. Obviously there is no Baseball conection to the JFK snapshot but...it is eerie.

Sorry not Baseball but here is a panoramic of the 1932 Mizzou Tigers Basketball team along with President Hoover at the White House. Third from right in the photo is John Miller Cooper...who, according to NCAA Collegiate Archives, is the first person to hoist a jump shot.

Future president of the United States, Dwight Eisenhower. Picture is of the Abilene High School team. Dwight is towards the middle circled and his brother if far right circled.
