Mickey Mantle reprint question

OK, I have what I believe is a reprint. But it may also be a card cut from a magazine.
So I am curious if it is a reprint. Then what original card is it a reprint of.PLMK. Thanks.

Based on the stats on the back, the "past year" stats are from 1955.

The Trading Card Database doesn't show anything for Mantle in 1956 that looks like this.

Ah, found it: 1988 Baseball Cards Magazine Repli-cards

Front design seems reminiscent of 1958 Hires; however, I do not believe Mantle appeared in the original set.

So, while I'm not knowledgeable about this particular Mantle, it seems like a fantasy piece.

That makes perfect since. I have a few other Mantle's but they say on the back that they are
from the 1988 Baseball card Magazine. As it turns out I have 3 Mantle's and a Jackie Robinson ,
and Ted Williams from the same set.Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction.

As to the design, it’s from 1956 Bowman.

A file from Bowman with 3 different designs under consideration (one fairly similar to 1953 Bowman but with a black box giving the players name, one similar to 1957 Topps football, and this one) exists and I believe is still owned by Olberman. Topps used this unissued Bowman design in 1958 for the Hires set.

The design was used again in a Bowman Heritage set that commemorates all 3 of the 1956 Bowman templates.
