Any one else collecting 1969 Nabisco Team Flakes??

I was wondering if anyone has or is collecting the 1969 Nabisco Team Flakes baseball cards. For some reason I like this set. I am in the process trying to work on a graded (authentic set) thin border set with no creases, which is tough for the set since they were cut from cereal boxes. I has been a slow process but slowly it is coming together. If anyone has some for trade let me know. I would love to do some trading for them. The Clemente has been tougher for me to find graded, without paying an arm and a leg. Here is a few I recently picked up. Thanks for looking and looking forward to any input on these.

I also have the Pete Rose graded authentic but not scanned yet.

Todd,

I collect this set (none graded) as well and have some on my want list, but they aren't a high priority for me. I am 90% certain they came in 3, 8 card panels on the back of the boxes with the border variance based on the size of the box itself.

Growing up, my mom got a box of these for me to eat because they had baseball players/cards on the back (I still have those cards). I wanted her to get the other boxes but my dad said I had to finish eating the cereal in that one first before we got another box. For some culinary reason, I only ended up with those 8 cards when they first came out. ;)

Nice cards, and good luck with the set!

Looks like some are available on www.comc.com . If the prices are too high, you could add them to your watch list for when those sellers run sales.

I've got a lot of them in varying condition. Nice set. Same photos as the sports illustrated posters and globe publishing.

Hey thanks for the post. I never ate Nabisco team flakes I was a Quisp fan. I actually got some of the Team Flakes cards from my uncle who was more like an older brother to me.
