I can tell you have a mixture of fakes and authentic at first glance but I can't tilt my head and tell for sure in all honesty

Just spend 15 minutes trying to turn them upside up and my computer does this still. I guess you could turn your laptop on its side. I have rotated the file in all different directions and none come upside up

Try this

The group of six all look like they were signed by the same person, but I don't know if that person was Joe D.

yeah, and upon further review, I don't really like any of them to be honest.

I am kind of leaning towards the 6 are good the 4 are not. Any other opinions?

The all time greats card is definitely not his signature. The rest are all questionable at best. Not an expert on his autograph but he always seemed to have each of his g's slightly different from one another.

I don't think any of them are authentic, but I think the same person signed 6 of them. Were they bought as a lot?

theshleps 06-05-2019 03:24 PM

Got them over the past 15 years, none as a lot

johnts1 06-05-2019 03:45 PM

I've really taken a good look at them and from what I can see, I really don't like any of them. I could probably give you a much better assessment if I had them in my hand, to really get a clearer view of them, but I know that's not possible.

seems back awhile ago I bought many large hof lots from some auction houses you all have heard of, not coaches corners and they all are reputable and most of these probably came from there. Except for the DiMaggios and Aarons the vast majority are fine.
I met with Bill Corcoran who looked over all my vintage stuff (as did Keating) over the past 6 months and they said I had about a 97% pass rate, which they said is basically unheard of.. I showed them all my pre 1970 cards. The posted cards are part of about 3,000 signed HOF cards post 1969 and I always was skeptical about the Dimaggio and Aaron.
Thanks guys for all your help. I am planning a move and want to get rid of most of my post 1969 stuff and do not want to sell fakes

Too bad. I'd have been very interested in the A's one, but yeah, sig doesn't look good.

My rotating monitor comes in handy at times like this ;)
