Hello,

Second post to the forum a a newbie...was wondering of any ticket folks out there have an idea as to value of this stub and whether its worth grading?

Thanks,

if genuine it has some value but as a stub it won't be a world-beater. If PSA runs a ticket special might as well do it if you are going to sell it. If not, I'd not bother wasting the money.

Thanks exhibitman! Not interested in grading, came from an old acquaintance's estate so sure it is real... Any idea on value?

I am not a ticket collector so I don't want to talk above my head as to value. That said, if you put this on ebay please let me know and I will be a bidder as I like it.

I can judge demand by the other bidders, lol

this ticket may be worth $50 - $75 as is and not really worth paying the grading fee , ebay would be your best bet start it under $25 or less to get some action ,
info about this fight
Held in between their two title bouts, The Fight of the Century in 1971 and The Thrilla in Manila in 1975, this second fight was scheduled for twelve rounds. Promoted as Super Fight II,[6] it was considered by many fans and experts to be the least significant and interesting fight of their rivalry. One columnist described it as a contest between two "former champions, both beaten, both past their best".[2] Nonetheless, Ali wanted to avenge his loss to Frazier in their first fight, and a world title try at Heavyweight champion George Foreman, who had dethroned Frazier, was at stake. Their first and third fights became part of boxing's lore, but some viewers considered the second fight to be entertaining as well.
