Scoarecard question

So last week i picked up a 1909 Giants scorecard. It turns out it's from Rube Marquard first major league win and also his first major league hit. I know he's not the superstar hall of famer but would this add a premium to it? Any ideas on value? Thanks

If he had 300 wins I think it would be significant but as it is I think it's just a nice bonus and a good story to go along with it.

Brock,
Nice pickup.
Is the program scored in blue ballpoint pen over pencil?

Nope, just heavy pencil and the light from the phone.

I'm glad to hear that.
I'm not certain of value, but it is a nice scorebook.

There is a good chance that a premium could be added because of Marquard to a collector say, from Cleveland. Or someone who primarily collects Giants or Robins. The auction process would be best to establish its true value to collectors.

A program from a Hall of Fame pitcher's first win and hit would seem to me definitely add a premium to the program. Look at the numbers they get for current stars first game and first hit tickets and stubs. And from 1909 there has to be VERY few of these scored from the game left. That said probably to rare for it's own good but any fan of early Giants teams would LOVE to have this in their collection and an auction would likely bring out the right crowd. Good luck nice program..any chance stubs were attached?

great early scorecard, not too many around to compare - and having him as the pitcher is even better
