When did Vintage Baseball Card Magazine go out of business?

Posted By: David
It used to be called VBBC. I had a subscription at one time. I think the last issue I got was #38. Great magazine. I have the complete run from issue 1 to 38, minus #7. Anybody know if there were any issues after #38? If anybody has a #7 for sale, I'd be interested in buying it.

Posted By: David
VCBC kind of bridged the gap between the years covered in Old Cardboard and the modern era. Beckett had a Vintage magazine out for a while, but I guess that folded, too. I'd like to see Old Cardboard venture more into the 50's and early 60's which are the years I'm most interested in.

Posted By: David
I subscribed around issue 20-something, but later bought a run of all the back issues except #7 which was out of print by that time. I'm not sure why that issue ran out.

Posted By: Jim Clarke
I loved the survey they used to do on all the dealers and auction companies. I think the voting was pretty much dead on. If I remember correctly, Scott B. was voted number one or two with Mark M.

Mr. "Paul" and this was ten years ago stated words to the effect that he was capable of performing restoration that was virtually undetectable.

Posted By: andy becker
....#7 was not "sold out" in a traditional sense....i was told (by dennis or don betz) that all remaining printed issue were bought up by psa.
psa did not purchase the rights to the issue, so it could be reprinted, but they did buy all remaining printed copies.
