On this Shappe verison, although the "R" was intended to be an "R" but it is not appear this way. The name on the front is supposed to read SHARPE, NEWARK, but instead reads as SHAPPE, NEWARK. Such variation was caused by broken printing plate or the ink was blocked by small particle and the ink was unable to fully printed on the cardboard. In fact, you can still see a hint of a "R", but collectors still consider such specimen as SHAPPE.&gt;&gt;<br /><br />I guess that wraps it up in a nice bow. <br /><br />Kevin, you sure to have alot of these T206 printing rarities.... <br /><br />Next time I am in Cali, maybe I can check them out.
