Reggie Jackson ball - opinions?
 

Picked this up at a local auction. Sure looks like Reggie Jackson but I wasn't aware that he shortened his signature. Maybe a rush job? Also had a Bob Feller on the sweet spot. Is it legit?

Looks like mid 80's of both (I had an in-person of Reggie that looked like that. It was in the midst of a crush of people). This one is personalized, so that pretty much rules out "rushed" I would think. I also have never seen a "Best Wishes" by Reggie. Maybe someone else can chime in.

Hope you didn't pay much for the ball...it's an authentic autograph, but I'm afraid the autograph is Roy Lee Jackson, pitcher for the Blue Jays in the early 1980s.

That's funny! Thanks for letting me know. I didn't pay much so no loss and there is still the Feller on there. Plus now I have a funny story to tell.

That explains a lot! :D Has anyone seen a personalized Reggie?

One thing for certain is was not signed in the eightys. I am not sure if was signed by him at all. Here is a picture of his signiture in the seventys. I would also like to know what kind of ball it is on.
