What is this bat?

What is this bat?? I picked this bat up couple years ago on eBay. Not thinking anything of it other than the BIN price was very low and it looked like a nice vintage bat. I never did anything with it and put it away only to dig it out when I and found this picture of another bat like it in a collection highlighted on sportsantiques.com bat is 4th from the bottom. If you need a large photo it can be seen at http://www.sportsantiques.com/2007NA...tRackSide2.JPG
It had no markings other than DUNCAN in several places on the front and backside of the barrel and is hand turned model bat. I have pics from the website first and then the bat that I have which is VERY VERY similar down to the multiple stamping and flat end to the barrel. Any help would be appreiciated |
Bat appears to be from the H&B archives judging by the stampings and darkness of the wood. There are several Duncan's playing ball at that time and could be any of them. Looks to be a 1920's or so bat. Is there any sidewriting indicating a date or first name?

Thanks for the reply. There is no sidewriting on the bat at all, I am guessing it might be a Pat Duncan? as the bat in the other collection is surrounded by Cincinnati Reds bats and items.
