Boxcar Willie?

Has anyone else listiened to this guy? If you like twangy, old country music, he's pretty good. He reminds me of Hank Williams Sr., especially with his short renditions of him..

Haven't listened to him for years, I seem to remember him and Slim Whitman selling their records on late night tv.

He was fairly huge/big back in his day until his passing but until you mentioned him here, I had forgot all about him, unfortunately.

His KING OF THE ROAD album was heavily TV-advertised in 1980, reaching No. 5 on the pop charts and becoming a huge seller. During the next ten years he achieved 15 gold and four platinum albums and recorded duets with Roy Acuff, Willie Nelson and Hank Williams Jr.
