I got a feeling I'm not the only one who dabbles in some Thorpe memorabilia.

So show your stuff!

I'll kick it off with this extremely tough c. 1914 TYPE 1 photograph of Thorpe sharpening his skills...

Jimmy,

That is an absolutely amazing photo, but some terrible top-hand bunting technique!

Chilly, spring morning in Marlin. Great, clear shot Jimmy.

ca1930s, sporting his "Concussion Magnet". Still hunting down the location of this Exhibition kick.

Jeez Leon. That Thorpe piece of stationary is the stone cold nuts! I just love stuff like that.

Best, Jimmy

No biggie compared to the great items posted but thought you may like this button...

Most have already seen this piece as I posted it on the card side when I picked it up. It is perhaps the only image of Thorpe that can be 100% dated to the tme he was playing baseball in 1909-10 in the East Carolina League (I've never seen any images of him in his ballplaying garb and wonder if any exist). He is seen pictured with his 1910 Rocky Mount, NC teammate A. J. Dussault and it comes directly from the estate of another of their 1910 Rocky Mount teammates David Creagan.

By the way, $6600 for the Thorpe Zeenut seems kinda cheap, even given the trimming on the top that resulted in the Auth grade.

A pair of Jim Thorpe TYPE 1 photos by George Grantham Bain & Paul Thompson...

c. 1910's vintage original photographs. Obviously, the legendary lensmen were standing along side one another when they snapped these near identical images. Proper stamps are on the backs of each photo.

I bought the Thompson image first from Scott Gaynor several years ago and added the Bain a couple years later.

I purchased this H&B store display piece years ago in part because it contained Thorpe's H&B facsimile signature (in the middle of the second row from right).
I also have Andy's Thorpe pinback.

Carlisle Indians piece

Amazing Thorpe stuff everyone. I showed this pennant once before, but just got it back from the framer and hung, so figured I would show it again. While not directly a Thorpe piece, it is a Carlisle Indians piece from his time period there.
