Extremely rare T207 Brown Back SGC 40 MOVED TO EBAY

Posted By: scott brockelman
I am offering for sale an extremely rare T207 Brown Back print variation recently graded by SGC in a 40 holder. the player is Austin. Very few of these are known to exist, I personally know of only 2 others, 1 in long time type collectors collection, the other being offered in a current auction. Another regular T207 is also shown it is not being sold with this card.

I am only selling the card due to impending purchases.

$2,000 delivered.

Scott

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZsb1

Posted By: jay behrens
A little history on the variation. I've owned a Clyde Milan for a number of years with the brown back. Everyone on the board dismissed it as faded black ink. I brought it with me to the Chicago National in 2005. After showing the card to number of people, including Dave Foreman and the head grader from SGC, they agreed it was a variation and slabbed it as such. Other than the ones Scott mentioned, the only other one I know of is a Walter Johnson.

Jay

The richest person is not the one who has the most, but the one who needs the least.
