A baseball movie really worth watching.

The Battered Bastards of Baseball, Netflix Documentary.
I just discovered it though it has been out for a couple of years on Netflix.

Bing Russell, the father of Kurt Russell, owned the team Portland Mavericks.
The doc is about the team.
Really worth seeing.

I loved it! Thanks for reminding everyone.

I just wish there was some way to own a copy...I'm still old-fashioned that way. I realize it could probably be 'streamed' anytime I wished, but I would much rather be able to view it via my Blu-ray player whenever I wished. I guess Netflix wants to keep it from the open market.

DVD burners were popular years ago. Maybe there is a device that will allow you to record something from your TV on to a DVD or blue ray.

Definitely an enjoyable documentary. Sort of a real life version of 'The Bad News Bears' in a way.

I saw that on Netflix also. Good documentary. Although I've never met a doc I didn't like LOL.

I was stuck on a documentary I was producing. I had had a couple of reversals that just sapped all my energy for the project. Battered Bastards of Baseball got me back on track.

By the way, if you're like to see my documentary, which unless you have some slight interest in advertising or Roanoke, VA, you probably won't it's on line free at
