1916 M101-4 Players in Fed League Uniforms?

Expanding my options for Federal League items to collect, I just ran across the fact that there are a number of players on 1916 cards, in their old Federal League uniforms. I feel that counts :)

Any suggestions on what cards I should look for?

So far I've found there's a few in the 1916 M101-4 series:
Fielder Jones (in St Louis uniform)
Bennie Kauf (in Brooklyn uniform)
Art Wilson (in Chicago uniform)

You picked out the ones with the most prominent display of a fed lg. team logo, but I believe that Bill Fischer, Max Flack and Rollie Zeider are also shown in their ChiFed uniforms (although obscured).

Thanks! That's just what I'm looking for! (and now I see that these cards are quite expensive...sigh.)

They shouldn't cost as much as most Cracker Jacks. BTW, that Evers shows him in a Cubs uniform, so that should save you some money :)

I got him because he was in a Cubs uni before I remembered he was in the Federal League. Didn't save me any money!!

Hm. Any thoughts on Ed Konetchy? Wondered if this looked more like 1915 Pittsburgh Rebels vs. a 1916 Boston Braves uniform.

Looks like the Rebels outfits were pretty plain. Can't quite see what's on Konetchy's left arm, but that is also the only spot the Rebels had anything on their uniform....

Sorry, no. That photo was taken long before the Federal League was formed. It was used for his m101-2 premium in 1910:

Hah, thanks. Were these “deep dives” into photo archives common? (You’d think that they could’ve found something more current than a 6+ yr old photo)

They were somewhat common, but they were not limited to Mendelsohn's sets. That Konetchy pic was also used for his Cracker Jack cards in 1914 and 1915.

I have been writing a Card of the Day article for the last three years, and I often try to match up jerseys on the older cards. I have found plenty of cards from the early 1920s that use photos that were 6+ years old. I don't remember the player off-hand, but one was nine years old. It was a 1921 card featuring a Pirates player in a 1912 uniform, which is a unique one-year style for the Pirates. May have been a Max Carey card

Other examples of this are the 1927 E210 York Caramel and various 1928 F50 ice cream cards of HOFer Eppa Rixey. These cards show Rixey in a Philadelphia Phillies uniform, the team he last played for in 1920. From 1921 onward, Rixey played for the Cincinnati Reds. (Shameless promotion - both of these cards are available in the current REA Encore auction.)

Here's another one: Clark Griffith from 1906, ten years before this card was printed:
