Moving off rookies, while I am not a big fan of the Icee Bear issue, I love this one, costs very little.

And here's a relatively obscure (perhaps for good reason though I like it a lot) Magic.

Nice Peter! Here's a non-rookie that took me years to find!

First post here.
I am going to go with the 1933 O-Pee-Chee 'Series A' Eddie Shore Rookie. Before Orr, there was Shore! That's right! In the 1930s, he was probably just as big as Morenz was. Boston fans worshiped him, while hockey fans in other cities wanted his head. The arenas were always full every time he played. The sad part is, majority of hockey fans today don't even know who he was. The NHL is partially to blame for this because all they want to talk about is Wayne Gretzky. Anyways, check it out below: |

I think a really highly undervalued card is Mike Bossy. He was an outstanding player and a big part of the New York Islanders winning their Stanley Cups. He was nothing short of a pure goal scorer.. He is still ranked 21st overall in the NHL for goals scored, and NOBODY has a higher Goals/Games played % than him at 0.762..You can pick up a PSA 8 of this guy for around $125.00, Considering a Gretzky in PSA 8 sells north of $4000, and centering is an issue with the 1978's, The card seem like a real bargain to me..
752 Games 573 Goals 553 Assists 1126 Points Attachment 272846 |
Beautiful card. I agree the 78's are a nightmare with centering. I have a stack of them all OC.
