I have such a hard time figuring out these values cause I don’t see them come up too much. Any ideas?Attachment 363509

I'd put the Matty in the $1,200 to $1,500 range.

Matty $500-$700. Cobb is more difficult to value, but my guess in an auction on a good day it would bring ~$2,000.

I would put the Matty in the $400-$500. For comparison, a just slightly nicer 1 sold for under $500 in Brockelman last year and a pretty nice 2 just sold in REA for $1200 including BP. I have no idea on the Cobb but $2k sounds pretty reasonable to me.

I would have guessed higher on the Matty but didn't see that Brockelman sale listed on vcp.

That Matty is pretty rough. That's probably the reason for the low valuations.

Matty

Tough to find, 42 on the combined pop charts. Great card / image.

Please show us the back of the Cobb.

We do not have permission to cover Brockelman. We did when they first launched but then they terminated our API feed.

We love to start covering them again if they would allow it.

As I recall you wanted to charge us for our price history to be posted on your site. We passed on that deal. If you want the past prices at no cost to us that would be fine, let me or Bob F. know what you need.

For the board members, all of our auction history is searchable on the auction site at no charge to anyone that would like to see it at:

www.brockelmanauctions.com and click on the "Past Auctions" tab on the home page.

My comment wasn't a shot at you Bobby or VCP, just an observation. Although it sounds like there's a chance to work something out now.

Scott,

We never ever charged anyone for putting their prices up on our site. I know it was another reason but that is for another day.

We would like to do it the right way and put your logo up on our HP as one or the AH's that we cover. Then have Bob at Simple give us the API feed so that we can cover your auctions from the beginning. This way all of you items get checked against our members want lists and if matched they get emails with links to your auction.

Fair enough, let Bob know what you need.
