I once had a dog named Useless. But Unused??!! Maybe that's why the dog looks more like Ruth than the guy, whoever he might be.

I can't decide if I think that this guy is a crook or a moron.

I sent a question to the seller, "Babe Ruth? Really??" and received the following response just a few minutes ago:

"Maybe a brother. I have not found any other pictures to confirm the exact home, dog, or ring on finger and have closed listing."

ummmmm, how about looking at a photo of Ruth himself?

But Frank...that would be too easy and the seller would take the chance that it isn't Ruth and he would be out of money :rolleyes:

He has great feedback, but doesn't appear to sell any sports stuff - mostly jewelry and antiques. He should have done his homework, but it does look like an honest mistake to me. At least he pulled this listing.

Could he be a crook disguised as a moron? No probably a very honest mistake. Maybe he has a real job and a real life and doesn't stare at baseball cards all day.

I guess no one wanted a picture of Mark Ruth with his dog :).

I'm sure once he can identify the person who painted the porch railings, or if the dog is spayed or neutered will he then be able to positively identify the man in the picture.
