VCP adding modern

Hoping to get some help here. I am a vintage guy so don't know modern very well. We are expanding VCP to cover 2000-current. We figure that this area is more about players then sets, correct? Would be of great help to us if you guys can chime in and tell us who you would like to see us track sales data for across all sports, if you can or don't mind. Of course if there are some must have sets we would like to know those as well.

Appreciate the feed back.

Those sets are pre 2000 aren't they already on VCP?

Hi Bobby, appreciate you coming here looking for input. Are you planning on not covering everything, just a select group of popular sets from 2000-now?

Vcp is going modern

Hey Bobby,

I would find VCP to be most useful if it covered all the post-
2000 Topps and Bowman sets along with their parallels.

Bowman Chrome, Topps Chrome, Refractors, Opening Day,
Gold, Limited, Home Team Advantage

Sets like that are overdue for a recorded reference.

How about Star basketball from the 80s? Why aren't the BGS sales recorded?

Just with our experience from covering 90's a lot of sets have holes in them because the value does not justify getting graded. We just figure the same will apply for the even more modern cards. Of course when we see cards that sell for high dollar we will capture that data. It seems that mostly only the star cards get the traction....of course there are exceptions. With some specialty sets out there with low pops/

Yeah, that list seemed like overkill to me. Bowman Chrome and Draft autographs may be the sets that are worth doing all of them.

lowpopper 06-12-2018 11:53 PM

All the sets I mentioned have low pop high dollar value PSA 10's.

If 1992 Donruss is on VCP, something like 2001 Topps Chrome is
more than acceptable.

............might not need Limited & HTA tho. LOL
