Question about a 1959 Topps Gibson

Hello there!

I just wanted to get some opinions on a recent ebay purchase.

I won this auction for a 1959 Topps Bob Gibson in an SGC 84 (7):

I'm usually pretty good with researching cards and sellers and I have a feeling this one may have slipped by me. I hope I'm wrong.

This card looks exactly like an SGC 80 (6) this seller sold days before:

The back scans appear exactly the same.

Does the SGC case look compromised? I'm not saying the seller did this - but I do have an uneasy feeling about it.

I just want to see what you guys think. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Todd

EDIT: I may have noticed one slight difference on the fronts - though it could be dust, small debris inside the case. I'm hoping the exact back scan is just the seller accidently using the same back scan for two different cards. :: fingers crossed ::

There is at least one difference between the fronts. Note the gap between the bottom of the "g" in Gibson and the border surrounding the picture. On one of them, the "g" is practically touching the border and on the other, there is clear separation.

Hope this helps a little.

front pics/cards different

back pics are same -- honest mistake?

Thanks, guys.

I received the card today - everything looks fine. It appears the seller just had the same back scan for both cards.

I also just noticed he had feedback for another card that he had 2 of - and they were obviously 2 completely different cards, so I felt much better.
