His "dad" was an avid baseball fan.

That's a jaw dropping accumulation of huge names. Great pickup.

Sad that anyone would think they could pass off that junk to someone who

A few of the lesser names look like they might be authentic but all the big names are totally fake. A classic mix and match scam.

It is a collection of forgeries. Not something I am buying.
I was quite excited when he sent me the list of names but,,,, :(.
We got into it a bit in emails and then he eventually offered the entire garbage to me at $5 per piece.
It never ends.

An "avid " baseball fan DOES NOT EQUAL a knowledgeable collector , even if the "story" was true.

They all look like they were signed by the same person. My guess a C.C. buyer at one time.

I don't think it looks like CC garbage. I think it is just an amateur forger.
Comes from a Western state with a barely measurable population. :).

That was my first thought before even looking at the signatures themselves. Same size, same location.......same hand.
