AMAZING: It Finally Happened - And THAT's not even the most Amazing part:

For the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament, a No.16 seed beat a No.1 seed (and by 20 Points!)

U.M.B.C. 74
Virginia 54

I haven't even google them yet, but one of the Broadcasters noted that...

wait for it...

U.M.B.C. stands for...

U Must Be Cinderella!

WOW! The odds of that are almost like the first Woman ever elected to the Baseball Hall-of-Fame being named Manley.

Virginia should be embarrassed.

A buzzer beater would be amazing enough. But to blow out the #1 team in the country defies explanation.

Didn't UVA lose a player to a broken wrist? If I heard correctly he was their best player.

They were still 20 point favorites without him. It will go down as the biggest upset in ncaa history.

The coach is probably not too popular with the alumni right now.

He wasn't their best player. He was the 6th man. He did win 6th man of the year in the ACC, so good, but not good enough to crack the starting lineup.

Yeah disappointing showing for Va college basketball this year. Here in Richmond, VCU didnt make the NCAA tournament for the first time in 7 years and decided not to make any postseason appearances. I never saw an answer as to why?
