Anyone have a scan for 1937 R325 Goudey Knot Hole League #5?

I'm assembling info for a type collection profile of 1937 Goudey Knot Hole and had no problem finding promotional materials (flyers, membership cards, etc.) but can't find what I want most, front and back scans of #5. (I'd also like the card itself, but scans will work for this purpose.)

Anyone have one they can scan and share? Full article will go on my blog, http://number5typecollection.blogspot.com and I'll credit you (with a link, if desired).

I only have #10 but this is generally what they look like..(and the return of the quarter)

Thanks for your scans, Leon. My blog's conceit is only cards numbered 5, so that's why finding front/back has been tougher than it might otherwise be. :-)

I was trying to do a little searching on the interwebs. I'm guessing that #5 must be pretty scarce? I found a lot in Legendary Auctions from 2011 that had 23 of 24 cards... only missing #5.

Also, I was reading your blog. If you still need an E95 Bender let me know. I have an extra beater.

Thanks Zach, I do have an E95 Bender in the type set already...and thanks for reading. :-)

And you're right, the Knot Hole #5's proved elusive, probably for overall set obscurity / rarity. The only one I can (sort of) find right is sold as part of a pricy larger lot without individual scans.

I see there is someone listed in the PSA set registry with the complete set. If all else fails maybe you could try contacting them to see if they will share a scan of the elusive #5.

I have scans of all of them. I'll send it to you later when I get to work if you send me a PM with your email.

OK, here is card #5. Email me if you want the jpeg file directly.

Terrific, thanks Dave!

Matthew,

There is a new BIN listing for that card on ebay if you are interested in purchasing one for your #5 type set:

Great, thanks Tom! $35 is too rich for my blood, but good to finally see a #5 in the marketplace.
