Help with Joe Wood Autograph
Posted By: Jodi Birkholm
Perfect. Worth $15-25, but would probably sell for $10-12 on eBay. There are a ton of these out there, as well as countless cancelled checks. Wood was a great signer until shortly before his death, when ill health prevented him from personally signing anything. At that time, he employed the use of a rubber stamp, and would send a form letter, apologizing for his inability to properly comply with each request. He always made it known in that letter that he personally applied the stamp to the items.

Posted By: davidcycleback
If the seller is Jim Stinson, he has a sterling reputation as an autograph dealer. I believe was one of PSA/DNA's first authenticators, along with board regular Richard Simon.

Posted By: Richard S. Simon
The Wood autograph looks fine and if it is coming from Jim Stinson, there is nobody better to buy it from.
