SoCal members? General meetup question(s)?
Hi all,
I'm relatively new, but I've been a little active and everyone's been very friendly and welcoming. Such being the case, I thought I'd try to get southern Californians together sometime soon for a meet 'n greet of sorts! There's a local show in Long Beach (http://www.longbeachexpo.com/news/2012/65), free (with registration on PSA's website) and not TOO far from Los Angeles and San Diego, I hope. I've gotten in touch with a couple other collectors in the nearby area who are interested. Any other takers? Again, I think this local show would be a fitting and great opportunity to meet some local Net54 members. I'd also really like to create a network and perhaps even an ongoing if relatively infrequent meetup group of SoCal sportscard and memorabilia collectors. Whether you're in SoCal or not, any tips, advice, experiences to share, words of warning, etc? I'd love to hear from others who've tried this before. Thanks in advance for the interest and sharing of thoughts! Matthew |
Would come if it weren't so far. Being in the desert means a 2 1/2 hour trip to get to Long Beach. Otherwise, sounds great.

and growing...
Update: we have about 5 or 6 warm bodies in addition to myself. I think there will be a group getting together next week at the Long Beach show on Thu and/or Sat sometime.
I'll update this in a few days for those interested, although I'd truly love to get in touch with as many people as possible. |
