seems like the family was ok with trading the ball for more stuff and to meet Harper. Good for them...seem like genuine good people who aren't out to hold the ball hostage for maximum payout.

I am confused. Who is the biggest creep here? It appears that Harper gave them tons of stuff and was very friendly even made a video for someone who wasn't there in exchange for something very sentimental. I may have missed something please explain.

Clearly the little girl is the villain, for saying that meeting Bryce Harper wasn't as cool as meeting Taylor Swift.

I would have told Harper I would give the ball to his mom for her birthday, but he would have to take me to his mom's house for cake.

I was okay with Harper through the first thread, but now I read he's used "Shake It Off" as a walk-up song. He's dead to me.

I don't hate the guy just the song lyrics he likes. I am not sure how any normal person could like those lyrics.

Ask the millions of people who listen to and like them and make these rappers and their producers enormously wealthy. It would probably be revealing of what we have become as a culture.

I guess I am just old fashioned. I don't think I am a prude (far from it) but those kind of lyrics are disgusting. And, if as a culture that is what we have come to, I need to move further out :). Btw, my 19 yrs old daugther would be far more repulsed than I am if she heard them. I am sure of it. She's a good kid and thinks very well.
