Centering on T206s Worse/Better Than??

Which one is worse/better to you? Off-center top and bottom, or OC on the much more noticeable vertical side borders? Personally if the name and team is clear with no flaws, a big bottom/skinny top looks ok with perfect vertical centering.

This is not even close....Off centering top to bottom is better than off centering left to right... believe me....

Centering side to side looks better, but I don't usually care.

A little bottom heavy doesn't look too bad...

Agree with side to side centering much more important.

I think that's what the OP said, just worded different.

I have a running joke with a friend about cards that look like this being a bargain 50% off....LITERALLY 😆

Gotta have both or can't own it!

Forgive the pontificating, but I didn't get to teach my classes last week because of the hurricane, so...

The aesthetic preference for bilateral symmetry in inanimate objects is a by-product of the evolved preference for the same in the context of mate selection, bodily symmetry being a marker of developmental stability and of underlying genetic quality.

We don't care about top to bottom centering as much because faces and feet ain't supposed to look alike.

Yep, much prefer centering side to side than top to bottom.

This one is centered a little high...doesn't bother me one bit.

A card badly centered side-to-side is worse, IMO.

As mentioned above, Top/Bottom off centering bothers me less then side to side.

I was offered 35K for this card recently so I'm guessing the top/bottom off centering isn't a big deal.

CMIZ5290 10-01-2017 08:52 PM

Just wondering, why didn't you take that offer Jeff? That is a strong card...

I offered Jeff $17K two years ago. Now I wish that I'd gone higher back then. :(

The question is is the top Cobb a red or a green.
