Question About a Jack Lane Triple Crown Print

Hi guys. I recently picked up a large autograph collection, nothing great, mostly stuff done at shows in the 90's. There were some nice Mantle signed items but this one has me stumped.
It is dated 1986 by Jack Lane. Seems to be the only print not easily found online. Signed and numbered out of 1800.
My question is, does anyone remember these when they came out? Were they sold signed by Mantle? Is this even a signature or a facsimile?
I have looked at it multiple times over a couple of weeks and am leaning, wishful or not, that it is signed. Mostly because I have taken it out of the frame and looked at the back. The signature seems to stand out from the rest of the print, doesn't necessarily mean it's hand signed.
Any help would be appreciated.

I just did a quick Google search of ""Jack Lane" Mantle", and found the litho. It was issued in 1986, and appears to have been issued signed and numbered by the artist only, not by Mickey Mantle.

A good bet might be to contact RO Gallery on Long Island NY, as they appear to have been perhaps the art gallery that issued the litho.

After that, you'd probably need to have the autograph authenticated by someone like PSA/DNA or JSA.

Art prints like that rarely will have a fascimile signature of the athlete, so it is a matter of whether or not Mantle's signature is authentic.

Thanks guys.

I did find the gallery site on google but that was all. It looks like what may be the original art and then some poster copies. I found it odd that something numbered out of 1800 wouldn't be all over Ebay.

If this is a signature, it would be the 9th one in the collection, the other eight were all authentic so I would be comfortable with this one also. He acquired 90 percent of the autographs in person but I can't be positive on this item until authenticated.

As a side note, the 10 percent of the items purchased from dealers, about half were fake including every Ripken item, a couple Jordans and even a Reggie Jackson ball. Even a Ted Williams photo that he swears he remembers buying from Williams' son. Basically anything with a bit of value. Ouch.

while it appears the formation may be authentic, it looks like more of a stamp to me. Ink not dropped in appropriate places and ESPECIALLY do not believe that Mantle would sign that litho in that spot. PERIOD. With out inspection, I am highly suspect. It's small for the litho and doesn't even fit the shaded spot.

A stamp is also something I've considered.
