Can Anyone ID these 2 MLB Players?
 

Need your help in ID these 2 MLB players from 1989. First I thought the Royals player was Wally Joyner but he didnt play for the Royals until 1992.

Can't say on the identity, but that "Royals" player isn't pictured as a major leaguer. He's with the Omaha Royals, a minor League affiliate of the Royals (note the "O" on the cap). He may have made it to the majors, just not when that picture was taken.

Looking at the minor league sets from the Omaha Royals that year my best guess for that player is Nick Capra

Hey thank for the help! Tough call, I was trying to look at his uniform # but cut off a bit.

i dont think it looks like capra at all. face shape and eyebrows are off

On the left is Dave Hostetler, former Rangers 1B wearing the uniform of the Nankai Hawks from Japan. He was with the Hawks in 1986 & 1987, but had been back in the Major Leagues in 1988 with the Pirates. The other 2 look very familiar, but nothing is clicking for me right now.

The player on the right is Dave Owen. Got it from googling 1988 Omaha Royals, reasoning they used the pictures from previous year maybe?
