I need to send an Old Judge in to get it authenticated. I'm not looking to get it graded...because it is miscut...just authenticated. Where is the best place to send it for this purpose?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Rob M.

Posted By: <b>Judge Dred (Fred)</b><p>Rob,<br /><br />You could call the three majors (SGC, GAI and PSA) and see what the scoop is on getting the card in a AUTH holder. From what I understand you could request that if the card can't be assigned a numeric grade to have it encapsulated as AUTH (if they agree that it's AUTH). By the way, who's the player and what team? Is it an Omaha or KC player?

Posted By: <b>jackgoodman</b><p>I emailed SGC about slabbing as "authentic" some OJs that didn't measure up and had been skinned - they said to indicate "authenticate" on invoice and no problem. If that helps any.<br /><br />
